Job Description

As IT SAP Technical Architect, be in charge of the architecture of our customer’s application infrastructure landscapes. In close relationship with the customer identify, design and enforce architectural choices in the SAP area that can support the customer’s long term strategy, while on the other hand preventing architectural choices that can be an obstacle for the long term strategy. Be responsible for driving and creating consistent application infrastructure architecture within company. Be involved in the early phases of one-time deliveries and take long term responsibility for the solution.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify and manage infrastructure technical standards that are relevant to our customers
• Produce and maintain the long term technical architecture strategy and roadmaps, in collaboration with customers and vendors
• Secure infrastructure architecture compliance in company
• Drive research activities, and keep updated on market trends
• Infrastructure architecture quality assurance and making sure that EA certification is performed in deliveries
• Support the customer and co-workers with infrastructure architecture guidelines, frameworks, and also specific analysis and recommendations when needed.
• Work with IT Security and Compliance team to define the security architecture concept that can support customers
• Support overall IT strategy   with the relevant infrastructure architecture
• Define and monitor the application of architectural and technological guidelines, in order to make sure applications and services are “designed for operations”
• Coordinate activities with other parts of the organization and external partners as required
• Design of SAP infrastructure architecture
• Support pre-sales activities such as pre-studies, supporting cost calculations etc
• Maintain and develop SAP basis service descriptions
• Required competencies and experience:
• Proven experience as a SAP Technical Architect – SAP Basis, with deep expertise and interest in the following areas (SAP distributed landscape, SAP architectures and sizing, HANA Scale Out and TDI architectures, SAP mobility and user experience, Portal architectures and security, archiving, scheduling, monitoring with Solman, CHARM, migrations and upgrades, S/4HANA co-deployed components…)
• Strong experience in HANA
• Minimum 3-5 year experience as a SAP Basis IT infrastructure architect
• Proven experience with SAP architectural work
